Dentsply Enhance Finishing System Kit
The Enhance Finishing System offers a convenient and reliable solution for achieving natural-looking, high-gloss restorations with ease. This system utilizes specially designed Enhance Finishing that provides a controlled method for achieving optimal surface smoothness. Surface roughness testing has demonstrated that when Enhance Finishing is used after initial gross contouring with a bur, the composite surface becomes significantly smoother. The unique design of the Enhance cup, disc, or point allows abrasive particles to disengage effectively, resulting in a smooth and contoured surface. This pre-polished surface is not only aesthetically pleasing but also more resistant to plaque retention and staining. Enhance Finishing is available in three different shapes to cater to various clinical applications. The Enhance Finishing Cups are ideal for addressing cervical and proximal line angle areas, as well as molar cusps. For posterior occlusal and concave lingual surfaces, the Enhance Finishing Points are the recommended choice. Lastly, the Enhance Finishing Discs are well-suited for facial surfaces and incisal edge contouring. To achieve a flawless final polish, Enhance Polishing Cups can be used. These foam, polishing devices effectively buff and polish the restoration, adding the perfect finishing touch to your work.

Direction to use:
- Select the appropriate Enhance Finishing based on the specific clinical application:
- For cervical and proximal line angle areas, as well as molar cusps, use the Enhance Finishing Cups.
- For posterior occlusal and concave lingual surfaces, opt for the Enhance Finishing Points.
- For facial surfaces and incisal edge contouring, choose the Enhance Finishing Discs.
- Attach the selected Enhance Finishing to a low-speed handpiece or contra-angle handpiece, ensuring a secure fit.
- Apply gentle pressure on the restoration surface with the Enhance Finishing while activating the handpiece. As pressure is applied, the abrasive particles disengage from the cup, disc, or point, effectively buffing the surface of the restoration.
- Move the Enhance Finishing in a controlled and systematic manner, covering the entire restoration surface. Take care to focus on achieving a smooth and contoured surface.
- After using enhanced Finishing, it is recommended to follow up with an appropriate polisher for optimal surface polish. Options like the PoGo Polishing System or Prisma Gloss Composite Polishing Pastes can be used in this step.
- Finally, thoroughly clean and rinse the restoration to remove any residue or debris.
