- Efficient Pre-Shaping: ProGlider enables faster and more efficient pre-shaping of root canals. The single-file system eliminates the need for multiple files, streamlining the procedure and saving valuable chairside time.
- Fully Tapered Pathway: ProGlider provides a fully tapered pathway to length, optimizing the shaping and preparation of the root canal. This feature contributes to improved treatment outcomes and facilitates subsequent treatment stages.
- Longevity and Durability: The M-wire metallurgy of ProGlider enhances its longevity and durability. The file exhibits excellent resistance to fatigue, fracture, or deformation, ensuring reliable performance throughout the procedure.
- Single-Use Convenience: ProGlider is designed for single-use, eliminating the need for sterilization and ensuring consistent performance for each patient. This feature enhances convenience and maintains optimal hygiene standards.
- Enhanced Flexibility: The flexibility of ProGlider enables easier navigation through curved canals and complex anatomies, facilitating efficient canal shaping even in challenging cases.
- Minimized File Separation Risk: ProGlider’s advanced design and metallurgy significantly reduce the risk of file separation, enhancing procedural safety and reducing the need for additional steps or interventions.
- Time Efficiency: By combining multiple features such as single-file design, progressive taper, and improved flexibility, ProGlider enables faster and more efficient canal preparation. This time-saving feature benefits both dental professionals and patients.
Description
ProGlider file is a revolutionary single-file glide path system that revolutionizes the process of pre-shaping root canals. With its advanced features, including M-wire metallurgy and progressive tapers, ProGlider ensures safer, faster, and easier canal preparation than never before. One of the standout features of ProGlider is its M-wire metallurgy, which significantly enhances the file’s flexibility and durability. This unique metallurgical composition provides a remarkable 400% increase in resistance to cyclic fatigue compared to conventional files. As a result, ProGlider offers exceptional longevity and minimizes the risk of file separation during the procedure.
The file’s progressive taper design further contributes to its superior performance. Unlike fixed tapered hand files, ProGlider incorporates increasing tapers ranging from 2% to over 8% along its active portion. This design effectively reduces the potential for taper lock and the dangerous screw effect, enabling smooth and efficient movement through the canal. ProGlider’s cutting-edge technology ensures a safer and more accurate glide path creation compared to traditional stainless steel hand files. It swiftly and precisely shapes the canal, delivering a fully tapered pathway to the desired length. Dental professionals can rely on ProGlider to streamline their procedures, saving time while maintaining exceptional quality.

Packaging
- Pack of 3 Files
Direction to Use
- Prepare straight-line access to the canal orifice.
- Explore the canal up to a .010 K-file.
- Establish working length with an apex locator, alone or in combination with a radiograph. Confirm patency with a.010 K file and verify a smooth, reproducible glide path.
- Irrigate.
- Use PROGLIDER in one or more passes until the full working length is reached.
- Irrigate the expanded glide path.
- Reconfirm the working length with a .010 K-file before shaping the canal with a rotary or reciprocating file (such as WAVEONE Reciprocating File or PROTAPER NEXT Rotary File).
TECHNIQUE TIPS
- ProGlider should be used with an endodontic motor, at a speed of 300 rpm with light apical pressure, and set at 2-5.2 Ncm for torque control.
- Establish a reproducible glide path using small-sized hand files (Lexicon .010 K-File) prior to ProGlider.
