Direction to use:-

• Take the endodontic file and insert it into the root canal until it reaches the working length or the point where the canal stops.
• Mark the file with stopper where it emerges from the tooth.
• Place the file over endo ring , making sure that the file is fully inserted into the ring.
•  This will help you identify the correct file length for the canal.
• Repeat the above steps with files of increasing length until the entire length of the canal has been instrumented to the desired length.
• Remove the endo ring from the file and sterilize it before using it again.
