Direction to Use
Connect the handpiece hose to the coupling joint on the front face of the unit.
Install the handpiece by pulling the ring of the coupling joint and aligning the positioning pin with the hole of the nose hood of the cartridge. Push it in straight.
To remove the cartridge, loosen the cartridge retainer and hold the bur. Pull out the cartridge toward the front, ensuring that the O-ring placed on the rear bearing is also removed.
For maintenance of the unit, observe the filter bowl through the inspection window and extract any retained water by inserting a finger from the base plate.
To access the rotor shaft, hold it down and use a wrench (with a square hole or U-shaped hole) on the wrench mounting at the end of the rotor shaft. Turn the wrench in the direction indicated.
To remove the chuck, after loosening the rotor shaft nut, push it out from the back using a test bur or shank of the bur. The guide bush can also be removed.
When mounting a new cartridge, align the water and chip pipes and the positioning pin with the hole of the nose hood. Push it in straight.
Ensure that the chuck and guide bush is securely in place before using the handpiece.
